Pocket Loom

This handy pocket loom measures 4x5.6 inches and fits easily in little hands.  All the tools you need (needle and comb) are embeded in the loom and pop right out for use. A "just right" weaving project (takes about 1 hour to complete).  Embroidery can be added after the weaving is done.  Use this project to explore Hebrew words or students Hebrew names.  Teach a lesson about the melachot of Shabbat, there are many texts related to the construction of the Mishkan and weaving. Or turn it into a lesson about nature, and have students dye their own yarn from natural sources on your synogogue grounds or from your garden.  Yarn not included.
